Human Resources and Industrial Relations Audits

With the constant changes in our Industrial Relations and Employment legislation, it can be hard for employers to keep up-to-date on what is needed for their employee records.

Community Management Solutions offers two Human Resources / Industrial Relations Audits - a Basic Audit and a Full Audit.

Our staff will interview you at your workplace, analyse the information and then prepare a report that outlines what needs to be done to ensure you are compliant.

Our Basic Human Resources / Industrial Relations Audit involves;

  • A review of personnel files to ensure they comply with the various acts;
  • A review or personnel files to ensure all employees have up-to-date Letters of Appointment or Employment Contracts;
  • Checking that copies of Awards / Enterprise Agreements  are on site;
  • A comprehensive review of policies, procedures, documentation and recruitment processes.

Our full Human Resources / Industrial Relations Audit includes the Basic Audit PLUS;

  • A comparison of employees current wages to ensure they are paid and classified correctly;
  • A review of time and wages records to ensure legal compliance;
  • Calculations of leave entitlements including Annual, Personal/Sick and Long Service Leave, if required.

Completion of Audit

We provide a written report outlining areas of compliance and non-compliance, areas of best practice, areas needing improvement, and recommendations to ensure you comply with current legislation.

*Audits are charged at $171.60 per hour (incl GST), including audit time, travel costs and report preparation. A Baisic Audit will take approximately two plus hours, however both timeframes will be dependent on travel, employee numbers and reporting times. All costs exclude any travel and accommodation expenses outside the Brisbane Metropolitan area. For businesses with multiple sites a separate fee is available.
