<h3>About our Kindy</h3>
<p>Camp Hill Kindy (a C &amp;K affiliate centre), has been a well-respected community<br />
kindy for 80 years and prides itself on its strong reputation and dedicated teaching<br />
staff. Camp Hill kindy is a not-for-profit organisation, operated by a Management<br />
Committee that is elected annually from the parent body.<br />
The double unit centre runs a three-year-old program, as well as a kindergarten<br />
program, which is play-based and child-led.</p>
<h3>About the Role</h3>
<p>Along with having the appropriate qualifications, you will also have a solid<br />
understanding of the National Quality Framework and Standards (NQF and NQS)<br />
along with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The ideal applicant will be<br />
flexible and available for work at short notice, with varied shifts including:<br />
 Long day session- 7:00am-4:00pm<br />
 Short day session- 8:00am-3:00pm</p>
<p>Applicants must have<br />
 Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA<br />
as an early childhood teaching qualification)<br />
 Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers<br />
 Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS and EYLF<br />
 Current paid or Exemption Blue Card<br />

<p>Casual position, school hours</p>
<p><strong><em>Buderim Mountain State School P&amp;C Association is seeking motivated and passionate individuals with strong customer service skills to join our pool of Casual Tuckshop Assistants at Banksia Café.</em></strong></p>
<h4>Role:</h4>
<p>Tuckshop Assistants work alongside the Convenor and other Assistants to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. The successful applicant will be ready and willing to work in a fast-paced team environment following and maintaining strict food safety guidelines. Tuckshop Assistants work as a team, planning, cooking and delivering nutritious and seasonal menus for the school community. This is a casual position within a not-for-profit organisation.</p>
<h4>Duties include:</h4>
<p>Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Banksia Café;<br>
Assist with the preparation of hot and cold food, ensuring it is presented in a timely, professional and efficient manner and in accordance with established routines and procedures (including cooking &amp; presentation of food);<br>
Operate with cash, EFTPOS and Flexischools in accordance with established routines and procedures, ensuring professionalism and courtesy to staff and students;<br>
Comply with standards relating to food hygiene, personal hygiene, cleaning of premises and general preparation of food within routines and procedures developed by the Tuckshop Convenor;<br>
Comply with any Workplace Health and Safety Standards &amp; Legislation;<br>
Clean and maintain equipment within routines and procedures, including fridges and freezers;<br>
Report any maintenance issues to Tuckshop Convenor;<br>
Support special event days and other catered school functions as required;<br>
Check and record deliveries;<br>
Check temperatures of food;<br>
Stock fridges and food displays;<br>
Count, rotate and store stock; and<br>
Other related duties as required from time to time.</p>
<h4>Requirements and attributes:</h4>
<p>Experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment;<br>
Sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking styles;<br>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;<br>
Excellent organisational and time management abilities;<br>
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with both employees and volunteers;<br>
Always maintain an elevated level of personal and professional presentation;<br>
Ability to work with minimum supervision;<br>
Current and valid Working with Children Blue Card (Paid Employee) or be eligible to apply for one; and<br>
Food Safety Handling Certificate or be willing to engage in completing course.</p>

<p><strong>About the role:</strong><br />
Springwood Community Kindergarten now has a position for an experienced Clerical/Administration Officer to join the Kindergarten on a Casual basis, commencing on Monday, 18th January, 2022.</p>
<p>This Clerical/Administration position is required for three days a week to support the Kindergarten and Nominated Supervisor &#8211; Mondays 9:00am &#8211; 1:00pm and Wednesdays &amp; Thursdays 9:00am &#8211; 12:00pm.</p>
<p><strong>This position:</strong><br />
The Clerical/Administration Officer is responsible for assisting the Kindergarten with matters of an administrative and financial nature such as creating and maintaining child enrolment records and waitlist information, collecting data for QLD Kindergarten Funding Scheme (QKFS) validation and QKFSPlus subsidies, setting up fees and invoicing/ receipting, payroll, grant applications,assist with budget preparation, retaining accurate attendance records for children and generate child data reports, file maintenance and archiving as well as other administrative duties as needed.</p>
<p>Ideally you will have strong organisational and time management skills, be flexible and willing to support the Kindergarten with open day events, community events and other administrative duties for the educators and Kindergarten when required.</p>
<p><strong>Ideal applicants will have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Qualification in business administration or a related course is preferred but not essential</li>
<li>Hold Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently enrolled, desirable but not essential</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar role as a clerical/ administration within the education and care sector (e.g.C&amp;K, Gowrie, long day care or school setting) highly advantageous</li>
<li>Proven well developed written, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills coupled with a strong customer service focus</li>
<li>Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality and integrity</li>
<li>Be welcoming, friendly and approachable when engaging with families, children and staff</li>
<li>Have demonstrated knowledge of Xero accounting package and Google Suite programs</li>
<li>Child Protection and First Aide qualifications (or willing to obtain these) is desirable</li>

<p>Previous experience in working in an environment catering to young children is not essential, however a broad understanding of community kindergartens will be viewed as favourable. Qualifications such as First Aid may be of benefit in this role.</p>

<p>Casual/Temporary</p>



<p>The Gap State High School is situated in the leafy Brisbane suburb of The Gap.   This year 2020, the school has an enrolment of 1700 students with vision for 2000 students in 2022.</p>



<p>The Uniform Shop is a business unit of the P&amp;C Association of The Gap State High School, and we are seeking an experienced Retail Manager.   This crucial position provides excellent customer service to ensure happy customers, and yet maintaining the professional business presence.</p>



<p>The casual position is up to 20 hours per week &#8211; the shop will be open every school weekday from 7am to 10am.  Your skills in managing the day to day operations of the shop will include inventory management, managing your volunteers, liaising with school staff, working alongside the P&amp;C Executive, and liaising with suppliers.  Your previous buyer experience is essential together with your skills for electronic POS will ensure this business unit will increase sales in the uniform shop.  Your demonstrated skills in time management will assist in fulfilling the online orders ready for student/parent collection or ready for the delivery pickup.</p>



<p>The needs of the school community require the Uniform Shop to be open 2 weeks prior to the start of the school year to ensure students are clothed according to the Uniform Policy.  You will become familiar with the Uniform Policy to ensure parents and students are aware of the School’s requirements.  You will need to hold or be able to obtain a current relevant BlueCard for this position which will be within the School environment.</p>



<p>Your Retail Manager expertise you bring to this position will ensure The Gap State High School Uniform Shop customers leave with a positive retail experience.</p>

<p>Key criteria</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Certificate III (Early Childhood Education &amp; Care or Community Services &#8211; Children’s Services) or studying towards this qualification, or a higher early childhood qualification</li>
<li>Ability to provide unobtrusive support to a child with additional needs to facilitate their participation in the kindergarten program</li>
<li>Ability to work cohesively with the group Teacher and Assistant/Educator to program for, evaluate and note observations of the child with additional needs</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to children, parents and staff with warmth and respect</li>
</ul>



<p>The successful applicant will also be required to obtain a Positive Blue Card notice.</p>
