The C&K Esk & District Kindergarten is seeking applications from interested persons, willing to step into the dual role of Director and Nominated Supervisor from January 2022.
The successful applicant will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the Kindergarten, to enable the delivery of high-quality early childhood services and programs aligned with C&K’s vision, values and priorities.
We are a not-for-profit dedicated Kindergarten, offering quality education and care, located in Esk, Queensland. We acknowledge that each child and family have unique early education and care requirements and provide a responsive program with stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, that offer a range of opportunities for children to learn through play.
The centre operates a five-day fortnight including Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternating Fridays from 8:30am – 2:40pm. The appointed person will undertake approximately 32.5 contact hours and 12 non-contact hours per fortnight in a permanent part-time role.

Requirements include:

• Teacher Recognition through the Office of Early Childhood Education & Care, Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers and the ability to obtain a Supervisor’s Certificate • Experience Teaching or Directing in early childhood settings
• A proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and make decisions • Strong leadership capabilities
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Positive (Blue Card) working with children check
• Current First Aid and CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Current driver’s licence
